Reanimal

Reanimal is an adventure game from the horror genre. The game was developed by Tarsier Studios, a Swedish development studio whose portfolio includes the first two installments of the Little Nightmares series.

Plot

The main characters of Reanimal are a brother and sister whose stay on the island that was once their home turns into a real nightmare. The orphans must not only escape from this terrifying place, but also save their missing friends.

Gameplay

In Reanimal we watch the action from a variety of angles. Events are most often presented from the side, but from time to time we get to admire scenes shown from behind the characters or from other unique camera positions.

The adventure leads us through chilling locations, between which we move on board a boat. As we explore these places, we must use our ingenuity to solve environmental puzzles, as well as our cunning to deal with the enemies we encounter. Given that the enemies significantly surpass the siblings in strength and size, our heroes must hide from them and sneak behind their backs, avoiding detection at all costs.

Game modes

In Reanimal we can play alone or in co-op mode - over the Internet or on a shared screen.

Graphics

The graphics in Reanimal are maintained in a disturbing style evoking associations with Little Nightmares. The faces of the protagonists are covered (with a mask and a bag), the locations are shrouded in darkness, and the proportions of individual elements of the world are distorted (the heroes are unnaturally small compared to the enemies and the objects they pass by).
