Everspace 2: Titans

Everspace 2: Titans is the first major expansion to the space shooter with RPG elements titled Everspace 2, released in 2023. The authors of the base version of the game, namely the Rockfish Games studio overseeing the series, are behind the development of this DLC.

Plot

Everspace 2: Titans has two stories to tell us. The first one revolves around the Minokawa, the last powerful battleship from the colonial war era, which was captured by outlaws. As it can turn the entire balance of power upside down in the wrong hands, freelancers, including the main character, are hired to locate and neutralize it before it's too late.

The second story from this add-on focuses on the legendary Leviathans, gigantic creatures that were considered extinct. When rumors start circulating that one of them was seen in the Khait nebula, we have no choice but to go in search of this monster.

Gameplay

Everspace 2: Titans introduces new story-driven content. DLC brings previously unavailable missions, equipment elements, resources and crafting schematics, as well as new types of enemies, led by cosmic creatures. The Leviathans are procedurally generated and are so huge that we can fly into their belly in search of valuable resources. Moreover, the climaxes of both stories feature the biggest battles in the history of the series.

Technical aspects

Everspace 2: Titans is not a standalone add-on, so it requires the base version of Everspace 2.
