Locomotion is a simple puzzle game in which you play the role of a trackman changing railway switches. Your task is to manage train traffic in such a way that it safely reaches its destination.

The rules of the game are simple. Each board in Locomotion contains a pre-determined number of stations, tracks and guidelines on how many trains must safely reach the station. All locomotives are described in letters that indicate the destination. The player only interferes with the track layout - he has absolutely no influence on other factors. By skillfully moving the steering knuckles, he sets the locomotive a route through which it will reach the required station.

Finding two locomotives on the same track causes a crash. At each stage we can make mistakes several times, although this is not the rule, which you will find out if you get access to more difficult layouts. It is also important to remember about the passing time. If it is missing and you do not manage to run the required number of trains, the game ends automatically.

The program contains several dozen stages, divided into segments marked with consecutive letters of the alphabet (A-L). After the successful completion of all the boards from a given block, we receive a password for the next one and the game continues. If we manage to go through all the stages prepared by the author, we can always use an extremely easy to use editor and design new layouts by ourselves. Nice graphics, nice soundtrack and the need to show reflexes and intelligence make Locomotion an interesting proposition, especially for amateurs of head-breaking.
