If you are interested in New World: Aeternum, an enhanced base game version, its open beta launched today and is available for everyone to try for free. Tests are taking place on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. They will last until September 16.

During the game, we can level up our character to a maximum of level 30. We can also expect various activities and attractions:

  1. arena – 3 on 3 player PvP mode, the perfect place for combat training;
  2. Amrine Excavations – a group expedition (equivalent of a dungeon) for 5 people;
  3. mounts;
  4. factions – we can join one of the three available (Covenant, Syndicate, and Marauders) and complete special tasks that raise our rank in its ranks;
  5. Influence races – PvP mode in which we fight against enemy factions and take over influence towers.

Test participants may also expect exclusive rewards, such as a title or gear, based on their achieved level. Please remember that once the beta ends, all your progress will be deleted.

Let us recall that New World is an MMORPG game released in 2021 by Amazon, which gathered a huge number of players on its launch day. Unfortunately, the first enthusiasm quickly waned when it became apparent that the basic game loop was rather dull and repetitive, and the title also struggled with numerous errors and exploits. The developers never managed to attract players back, but there is a chance that the refreshed edition of the game will change something in this regard.

New World: Aeternum will be released in just over a month – on October 15. Those who decide to pre-purchase the game will receive a special mount.
