In Black Myth Wukong you will find many different items. Among them is Gold Ridge Beast, which seems to be one of the most useless things in the entire game. From this guide you will learn more about its functionality and why you shouldn’t buy it.

Do You Need Gold Ridge Beast in Black Myth Wukong?

Gold Ridge Beast is an object that players are wondering about the meaning of its existence. If you bought it, you have been scammed. You can get it in two ways:

  1. It drops from the bosses.
  2. There is a quest called Man In Stone in Black Myth Wukong that gives you access to the shop where you can purchase a variety of items. Most of them, like Goldflora Hairpin or Iron Pellet, gives buffs to your character and are more useful than Gold Ridge Beast.

Function of Gold Ridge Beast is unclear. Some players suggest that this is missing Gold Piece that you must give to Yellow-Robed Squire to start fight with him. However, it’s not true – this boss requires Arhat Gold Piece, that you can gather from the First Prince of Flowing Sands.

Right now, it’s only known that it can be sold for 6000 Will. In Man In Stone shop you can purchase this item for 12800 Will, and investing in it will only result in money loss. So, you shouldn't buy it.
