FromSoftware's New Game is a Different Breed; Watch Gameplay [UPDATE]

Elden Ring and its DLCs did not appear on the Summer Game Fest 2023, but the event hosted by Geoff Keighley brought us gameplay from another FromSoftware game, Armored Core 6.

Update

Two weeks after the press screenings, the game's developers from FromSoftware published their own gameplay presentation from Armored Core VI. Their video is just over four minutes long - you can watch it below:

Original post (June 14)

June's game presentations did not bring with them information on the expansion for Elden Ring, contrary to the hopes of players. Only now FromSoftware has made its presence felt in a slightly different way. The Internet was flooded with a wave of gameplay footage from Armored Core VI: Fire of Rubicon (available below).

Selected journalists had the opportunity to see the game in action during a demonstration held as part of the Summer Game Fest 2023 event. Some were more fortunate: the developers enabled them to steer a mech themselves in a short demo of the sixth Armored Core. The result is that a lot of material has hit the web, both strictly textual, as well as some videos showing Armored Core 6 in action.

We've seen gameplay fragments before, but only in the form of short scenes in the trailer of Fires of Rubicon. Thus, today's footage is the first gameplay from the real thing - although, unfortunately, quite short. None of the three videos shown by journalists last longer than two minutes.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will debut on August 25 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
