There is less than a month left until the release of the Polish FPS RoboCop: Rogue City, and since yesterday you can already try it out through a demo version made available on Steam by the developers from Teyon. The demo, despite its not inconsiderable size, has some problems, however.

RoboCop demo with a little issue

The demo is quite large - it contains the full three levels of the game, so it's safe to say that after completing it you will no longer have to deal with a proverbial "cat in the bag".

Unfortunately, not all things related to the demo version of RoboCop look rosy. The released version of the game is said to struggle with many technical issues, especially when it comes to performance. Developers have already addressed the problem - in an post on Steam they promised a solution.

"We want to address the performance issues you've been having in the last hours on the RoboCop: Rogue City demo. While this was unforeseen, please rest assured the teams over at TEYON are working on fixes as we write these lines, and we'll hopefully be able to stabilize the situation in the upcoming days. It would seem the source of the problem comes from shader compilation.

If you have issues with the game, please do report it on the Steam forums, in the "Bug Report" sub forum or on our official Discord server. Please be as precise as you can be, and tell us about your PC specs!"

It would seem that after meeting the rather high system requirements, the game's optimization should be flawless, but it should be remembered that this is only a demo, and there is still some time left until the actual release. So it is possible that the issue will be resolved.

As a reminder RoboCop: Rogue City will debut on November 2 on PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
