If you do not have a good internet connection or simply travel a lot, we have good news for you. The Forever Winter will have an offline mode. Developers have confirmed it in one of their shorts on YouTube. So, how it will work?

Of course, you can work alone, solo gameplay is valid. However, from time to time, you may want to get some help from others. Developers prepared AI companions. You will be able to hire them and give basic commands.

On the official Discord channel in the Q&A section, creators have claimed that playing singleplayer is a good way to enjoy The Forever Winter. Moreover, they often do it themselves and they like it very much.

Remember though, that The Forever Winter will not hold your hand. It is still a difficult title. For example, you will not be able to pause the game even in offline mode. There is no break from survival.
