Star Trucker is a new game in the simulator genre. The game is a mix of truck and space sim. Obviously, the title gets a lot of attention of curious players (who are often looking for rechargeable batteries). Moreover, it is available in Game Pass. So, if you have the subscription, you can test it without additional cost. ST is available on PC and Xbox series X/S. What about other consoles, though? Are there any plans to port the title? Let’s find out.

Star Trucker – PS5, PS4 and Switch Release

We do not live in the perfect world. Because of that, games are often restricted to one platform (especially indie) due to various reasons, with lack of proper budget probably as the major one. In the case of Star Trucker, it is exclusively available on PC and Xbox (Game Pass included) with no news about other consoles. In the official FAQ on Steam we can read that:

Will Star Trucker come to PS5 and/or Nintendo Switch?

We have no news about additional console releases at this time. If that changes we will make an official announcement.

As you can see, for now there is no hope for a quick Star Trucker release on other platforms. Of course, at some point it may happen. The chance is quite high I would say. However, it can take months or years to reach that point. So, be patient and observe official social media announcements. There is nothing more you can do. It is also recommended to leave a comment for developers to inform them that there is a demand for ports. It may help, even if a little bit.
