Only rain and slow moving light snow gets occluded by buildings and Walls if there is enough FPS - otherwise this effect will also be switched off. To all Modders: Please notice that the Cloudmesh used in this Mod is a skyrim compatible cloudmesh. So you can adopt your Skyrim mods easily there.
[size=+2] IMPORTANT[/size] - DO NOT use a different Timescale than the vanilla one. Different Timescales always f*** up the weather system. The FO4 engine is way more picky in that case than all of the other engines and you will be stuck with Rain or snow for days!
- BE AWARE that the Fallout4 Engine is also even more fuckery when it comes to savegames. you will certainly destroy your savegame when removing any larger mod and this is a large mod!

Political Influenced Questmod and Playerhome / Settlement -------------------------------------------------------------- Vivid Weathers now Adds a own Questmod wich also will be expanded over time. It adds a new location north of Sanctuary (north/northwest of the robotics disposal site) - The Global Weahter Control System. Here you can find a Home for you, a Settlement, LOOT and the most important The backstory why you actually can controll the weathers since you are no god afterall. (yes its political influenced and trumpers will have a hard time reading it but since im german i simply dont care) This is a aim to make this Weathermod Lorefriendly and fillign a gap i always felt was odd.

I'm wondering if the super fast tree and bush sway in windy weather is something that can be fixed. I use the HighFPSPhysucsFix mod and think the issue is due to their animation still being tied to FPS, which is 120+.

Spectacular mod! Love the weather variations and dark nights. Radstorms are freaky! For some reason, the vivid waters portion of this mod is a bit too sparkly/shiny. I actually think the default water looks much better. Anyone else seeing more shiny/sparkly water with this mod (compared to default). Luckily, I can just not use that esp.
I've been playing with it but have been thinking about making some slight tweaks.
My first question is, what is the "none" setting in the Seasons of Vivid Weathers section in the installer? I see there's a no season limitation selection as well. Does none dictate the average weather based on the in game date?
Second, having installed with "none" selected, is it safe to reinstall and select another option without starting a new save? I know you say uninstalling could cause problems so Im just checking in
From how I understand it, selecting 'None' (or not using any of the seasons/silent hill if installing manually) allows for all the different weather patterns introduced by this mod. Using one of the seasons will only use the weather patterns listed for that season.
Does Loot sort these correctly or do I have to manually sort them? It doesn't sort them exactly how the post says. Sorry for stupid questions lol I'm still somewhat new to modding. Also. I'm using vivid weathers/true storms weather syringe. I'm doing a winter play but the snow will go in and out and it'll be snowing on half the screen. I have the audio slider patch, no snow under roof patch, mcm menu with hotkeys and eternal winters. Any ideas of the cause or a fix?
Any idea why this might be having an issue with Spring Cleaning? It's made a lot of clutter items that are normally selectable with Spring Cleaning unhighlight-able and seems to have even added/added back clutter around Sanctuary. Started a new game to see if anything was different and no, does not seem to be better on a completely fresh save.
Decided to give a crack at this mod again because I really wanted a good lighting mod. I installed the Spring Cleaning compatibility patch and loaded it after all the Vivid Weathers plugins and now it looks like everything is fine.
Tried this mod and True Storms - Wasteland Edition (Thunder-Rain-Weather Redone), Vivid Weathers is the clear winner. Less buggy, more pleasant and prettier.
