MedTechVR is a cutting-edge virtual reality prototype designed for healthcare professionals, utilizing wrist-worn trackables and smart glasses to create an interactive augmented reality (AR) interface. The system enables doctors and nurses to seamlessly access and manage real-time patient data, displayed directly on a virtual wrist-mounted interface. With smart glasses, medical staff can interact with the interface through gestures, providing an intuitive, hands-free way to view vital patient information such as heart rate, medical history, lab results, and medication schedules. The wrist trackable technology ensures precise control and interaction with the AR display, allowing healthcare providers to easily navigate through records, monitor patient vitals, and adjust treatment plans, all while maintaining focus on the patient. This immersive solution enhances efficiency, minimizes time spent on manual data entry, and improves decision-making in critical care environments, bringing a new level of technological integration to modern healthcare. This simulation leverages a prototype situation where nurses and doctors are responding to a code blue situation using the SBAR methodology to understand the situation, background, assessment and request at the time of this critical event.
