Description
As part of my entry to the #JunebugBlues map jam, this map features a very short story about "eternal hell" and horror.

Please leave thoughts as I may consider making a more fleshed out map in the future with a deeper story depending on the consensus of this concept.

Special thanks to the Source 2: Modding Hub for helping me out and my girlfriend for voice acting in this project!

Remaining post-upload to do list:
  • 8K Light maps coming soon
  • Refine workshop page with images and trailer
  • The flashlight in the very first room is buggy
  • Other fixes as more play tests come out

I was convinced I did something wrong the first time, so as I was waiting through the call the next time I was surprised that it changed, you really got me, it was well done. Really cool concept to have in a game, hope you can work on it more in the future.

Hello,

I played your mod and it was incredibly close to a real game. A couple of things stood out while I was playing:

The size of your rooms and the time I spent in them were very pleasant. There was no excessive exploring, and they were just interesting enough to spend time in without feeling like I was missing something when I moved on.
All the scares and surprises got me, and I did not expect any of them. Very effective. Your dialogue on the phone was actually enough story to make me feel like I was "in" something rather than just being dropped "in" something. I tried that with Alyx: Overwhelmed, but I think it didn’t work. It was not relateable. Your story was relateable. Smart :)

I once heard a musician say something like this: "It’s better to do the easy things very well than the complicated things badly" . Cool stuff dude :)

I recorded a video while I was playing your mod. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/A5lnShzI8Jc

This is awesome, great horror elements with this concept. I like the custom voice lines.
