I played your mod and it was incredibly close to a real game. A couple of things stood out while I was playing:
The size of your rooms and the time I spent in them were very pleasant. There was no excessive exploring, and they were just interesting enough to spend time in without feeling like I was missing something when I moved on.
All the scares and surprises got me, and I did not expect any of them. Very effective. Your dialogue on the phone was actually enough story to make me feel like I was "in" something rather than just being dropped "in" something. I tried that with Alyx: Overwhelmed, but I think it didn’t work. It was not relateable. Your story was relateable. Smart :)
I once heard a musician say something like this: "It’s better to do the easy things very well than the complicated things badly" . Cool stuff dude :)
I recorded a video while I was playing your mod. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/A5lnShzI8Jc
