When you are in an outpost, activate the hand scanner and press the "R" key on the keyboard or "X" on the controller to open the build mode. Thanks to this, you will be able to craft items that can be used to store other things.

  1. The best option is to build a transfer container - you will find it in the Storage category. You can store things in it - their total weight can't exceed 200.
  2. The container is made of iron, tungsten, and lubricant.
  3. You will have access to the transfer container directly from the ship's hold if it is located on the landing pad (which you must first build) in a given outpost.

  1. Unfortunately, it is not possible to build a storage in an outpost that can store an unlimited number of items. You need to make several transfer containers or crates, which are located in the decorations tab.
  2. Storage crates can store items whose total weight does not exceed 150.
  3. Remember that a specific number of resources are needed to produce the above-mentioned items - information about this will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
  4. You can obtain resources by exploring the world , get from outposts or buy from merchants, e.g. in the Neon Mining League.

Other ways to store items

Below we have listed other ways to store items.

  1. Cargo Hold - each ship has a different hold capacity, so it is worth investing in a better hold or ship.
  2. Companions - items can be given to a companion by talking to them and selecting the "Let's trade gear" option.
  3. The Lodge - there is a storage room in the Constellation headquarters in New Atlantis where you can store an unlimited number of items.
