Black Myth Wukong is a new big hit on Steam. It is a game about killing difficult bosses, so Elden Ring fans should be thrilled. With this kind of gameplay, it is important to pick the best controls. Many players can’t decide between keyboard and controller. Let’s look at them.

Black Myth Wukong - Controller vs Keyboard, Which Is Better

The answer to this question is more complicated than it should be, as it depends on many factors. But there is one question which you must ask yourself:

  1. Have you ever played soulslike? If so, what have you used until now? You should pick a device which you are more familiar with.

If you are new to the genre and don’t have your device of choice, you should probably choose a controller, as it is a pick of many players due to its simplicity. It is quite comfortable without adjusting keys and finding your own best button pattern.

If you are more advanced player, and are not afraid to dabble in controls, keyboard and its flexibility to adjust controls may be a solution for you. However, Black Myth Wukong does not allow (for some reason) to use all keys. For example, arrows are off limit. It may be quite inconvenient for people who depend on them to move. In this case, controller may be a better option for you, too. However, if you manage to properly keybind your device, using skills with one button may become an advantage during demanding duels.
