Casey James Atchisons' leader. He wants peace more than Kakkenhbah. He'd be pleased if you could bring him Spike.
If you want to help Topekans, you can just kill him (you'll have to fight also with Chisel) or intimidate him (Hard Ass 5), to make him tell, where brake shoe is hidden.
If you're trying to make peace between tribes - tell him about Jessie and bomb in a playground. It will depress him and he'll be ready to end the war at once. You can then take brake shoe or persuade him to talk to Kakkenhbah about peace.
You can tell to James about repaired well. You'll be able to take a quest from him to get rid off local Salvages gang, if you didn't take this quest from Kakenhbah before.
Brake shoe Brake shoe is hidden in the swing in front of James house. To get it destroy a swing with Brute Force or just shooting/hitting it.
If you want to know about location of brake shoe in "official way", tell James abou bomb on a playground, which could get killed Jessie or intimidate him.
Chisel (NPC) Chisel is James's guards chief - you'll be fighting with him, if you attack him.
If you make peace between tribes, when you'll be leaving area he'll talk to you and ask to "arrest" him, what will be mean - to join you.

Melissa She's desperrated to end a war by herself. You can tell her, that you want to help, by negotations or by killing both leaders.
Damaged well You can repair it using Repairing skill. Villagers'll be grateful for that and you'll be able to restock you water supplies.
James'll give you a bomb in reward when you tell about fully working well.
Jessie Here you'll find a Jessie, if she's alive and she weren't catch by Topekans.
Abandoned house Inside you'll find some weapons and a toster.
The Atchisonians live in far less impressive conditions than the Topekans. They starve and they are at the brink of exhaustion. Their chief Casey James is much more humble and it is easier to convince him with the idea of peace, which is very close to achieving peace.
This is a much poorer and more primitive region, where there is not that much to do. During your travels, you need to watch out for the groups of Rail Thieves who attack you on sight. It is best to go left, instead of taking the main path ahead. The group of the enemies ahead take advantage of land formations and it may be quite problematic to fight there. If you get them from behind, you will surprise them and be at a disadvantage, thanks to which you will not be surrounded on three sides. While at the Rail Thieves' terrain, you should pay attention to the alarms on the crates - they do not make that much difference, but triggering one does not summon, immediately, all enemies in the area. You need to watch out for the mines buried in sand - either disarm them (demolition man) or use them and try to lure the enemies onto them.
