Actually, it would have been easier for people if they had put the required FO4 BSA files into the setup. Then people would only have to download the binaries via Steam. But that's what happens when you take a negative attitude.
Hello, I am using the Fallout4STRIPPED.ESM and want to make a mod for FOLON but I've run into a problem where when I load up FOLON in the CK, I have a bunch of missing mesh errors. I've concluded this is because I need the CK to see the FOLON BSA's, however I can't find anywhere that shows what and where I need to put in the Creation Kit's INI. Can anyone help me out?
Chthonian, did you solve the problem? From my understanding of your message, I might have a similar one: I can open and work with CK in FOLON but there are plenty of forms not displayed, so it is very difficult to make modifications (I am trying to open all buildings in Covent Garden).
Steam for some reason lost access to the files because of Fallout London, which itself didn't work and crashed on launch. Had to reinstall it which is a real pain on my internet.
I have a problem with the manual installation on steam. I have typed in all the codes for download, the console says that it is downloading but nothing pops up in the downloads section of steam. Maybe someone knows what causes this? please help.
Would it be much better to have it say/state: "05 - Suggested mods" rather than recommended? After all I keep reading in discord that your staff mention that they are not really recommended.
There are also manual install instructions (the pinned post), and you can download the pre-ng files from steam itself, without a third party interface.
Would there be any chance of getting a list of all mods that TeamFOLON has added to Fallout: London? This would be useful so that I/we don't try to install mods that are already included in the base add-on.
I'm also seeing the message that there is an update when I load the game. I'm using 1.01-2.31R3_64, and that is the same version that is available on GOG.
Is there a location that is not Nexus that I can find out the built in mods list and live version of the London mod?
Has anybody gotten a screen showing FS4E Status Ok and XDI Status Fail? XDI is not running. Make sure DXI.dll in in plugin fold. Which it is. I install the mod with MO2 and cant figure out how to get this to go away. Whats odd is if I install the mod from GOG I dont get the message. I'd rather use MO2 to manage mods.
The downgrader crashed while I was running it and didn't finish copying over the files it downloaded. However, now it's trying to start all over from the downloading phase, even though I already have the files. Is there any way to skip to the copying step? Alternatively, where does it store the files it's downloading so that I can go delete them and start the whole process over. I can't easily free up an additional 28gb of space right now.
EDIT: I managed to scrape together enough space and it picked up the copying from where it left off.
